Truth Products Do Not Contain Conflict Minerals

Truth Hardware products are manufactured in accordance with the North American Fenestration Standard / Specification for Windows, Doors, and Skylights AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440-11 (NAFS) and can be summarized according to the following supplier requirement:

Conflict Minerals

Hardware products supplied by Truth Hardware do not contain conflict minerals, defined by SEC rule in accordance with the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, as columbite-tantalite, also known as coltan (the metal ore from which tantalum is extracted); casserite (the metal ore from which tin is extracted); gold; wolframite (the metal ore from which tungsten is extracted) or their derivatives.

There is a trace amount (considered an impurity) of tin in Truth's Zamak 3 zinc however it is less than 0.1% by weight and is not derived from African casserite ores.
